Yoyos are a fun flower-like embellishment that can be used to liven up a dress, shirt, headband, hat, anything really! I used some to decorate the neckline for my Red&Pink garment. I'd like to share this adorable technique with you all.

Yo-yos are so addictive! I love making them. As our wedding favors, I made yo-yo brooches from my mom’s stash of vintage fabric (with some of my vintage look-alike thrown in). They were each embellished in the center with a vintage button, and I sewed on pins to the back. It was amazing to see how well the guests coordinated with their choice, and very cool to see some guests rocking the exact brooch I knew they’d pick!
