This is my first burdastyle project. I have added some darts in the front for a better fit. They turned out a bit too long and are nearly touching the bust darts. I also have to learn how to fit an invisible zip…

I really love this dress!!!! The original wasn’t “it” for me, but this definitely is “it”! I love the general shape, the fabric and its colour, the fit you achieved is great and there doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with the zipper (at least on the photo). I think you did an excellent job and this definitely goes into my favourites!

looks great! The fabric is great. The zipper looks good in the photo. But if it helps… i found that my machine (an older Kenmore) refuses to work with invisible zipper feet. My regular zipper foot actually works best for invisible zippers… just takes a lot of basting and going slow.

Well, I think it looks real cute on you. The zipper looks good on the pics. Your material usage sounds like something I could have come up with! Good job.

Well done – I love the fabric . I had to come and have a closer look to see what you had made it out of!
