After the first successful jean dress I decided to try it again. This time with a pair of my boyfriend’s jeans (dark color) and mine (light color).
I have been toying with the idea of fitting the dress straight to the form. there is no pattern, just eyeballing.
Next time I will use a pattern.
Also, I will update pictures of them back as soon as I can.
Catch me on my website at “Ashton Miyako”:http://ashtonmiyako.com
and my blog for all the lastest updates going on in my area, life and friends.
ENJOY!!
Also, I will be finishing the hemline tonight as well.
THANKS.

Wow…I would never have guessed that this was a recycling project. I love it!

This is gorgeous! You are a natural draper as I see. Some people can`t drape, they need to use flat paper pattern. Your dress looks perfect and it wouldn`t stay long on the rack in store.

That is really great, did you use any pattern?

It looks amazing!!!! The pictures of it on you and the pictures of its back would be very welcome, but even without them it still beats many “re-fashion” projects I’ve seen!

I love the front seams. A sexy dress is a very good use for old jeans! :D

NIce Work, great fit. I love the way the seams curve down the front.

loove it! i think i would leave the hem unfinished (well, take a pair of pinking shears to it)….but then again i love the “cut off” look.

This looks very flattering! I’d love to see pics of it on someone! It’s great what you can do with jeans, I really wonder if I’d be able to do that. Great job ;)
