I’d like to make a wrap dress similar to the ones the designer Diane von Furstenburg makes – does anyone know of any good patterns. I know vogue do a wrap dress pattern but is a bit too A-line and I’m no good at altering patterns – thanks

Hello Soodee!
There is a wrap dress pattern on here at : http://www.burdastyle.com/patterns/hope-wrap-dress, it is in a size 34 and would have to be adjusted up or down if you are a different size. There is a free wrap top/dress at : http://www.sewingpatterns.com/sewingframe.php?mdl=http://www.printsew.com/click2print/sewingpatterns/index.php?goto=free-neu10140 that might work if you add some length. Here is another one : http://www.quiltingarts.com/media/p/4565.aspx. Hope this helps! Keep sewing with a smile!

Do you have a DVF wrap dress you can copy it with tulle. Pin the tulle to the dress and cut the tulle along the seams and hem. Lay tulle on paper and add seam allowances and hem.
