Hello Seussian,
I think the timezone used to display by the website right now is UTC: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coordinated_Universal_Time This is a requirement to store the information so timezone selection per user is possible in future upgrades. I am not positive on this but I will check to make sure.
